FOLL Joins the Antique Faire and Rib Fest with boxes of Antique and Vintage Books
Big Antique/Vintage book sale in downtown Lincoln during the Antique Faire and 4th Anual Rib
Fest on 5th Street on the 11th of September from 10:00-5:00.
In addtion there will be a Doll Show at the Lincoln Womans Club, Open House at the Archives
Museum at 472 E Street. The Native Sons will have their three buggies on display on the east
lawn area of the Civic Auditorium.
The Friends' Antique/Vintage Book Sale will be joined by Lincoln Area Archive Museum BOOK/ANTIQUE BOOTH and
numerous other antique booths. On down Fifth Street will be a long line of motocycles on display.
Thanks to the generosity of Lincolnites, MOTHER GOOSE ON THE LOOSE, will continue hrough June 31, 2010.
The 12 Bridges Library is holding a mystery writers program on September 17th. Plan to join Susan
Shea and other local mystery writers from, "The Three Sisters in Crime," for a book discussion. To
celebrate mystery writers, next week there will be a cart of signed mystery titles, both paper back
and hard back in the Friends' sale area in the library. The hard back books, signed by the respective
author, will be $3.00 and the paper backs, $1.50. Enjoy browsing the titles. The book sales generate
funds for the Friends to support various projects.

Donate your used books to the library, Bring the books to the back door of the 12 Bridges Library
6 days a week between 11:00 and 5:00, ring the bell and help will come to unload your books.

If you do not have a library card, stop by either library to obtain one. Bring identification and
information that you are a resident, PG&E bill, water and garbage bill. One needs not be a resident
of Lincoln to have a library card.

The library at 12 Bridges has partnered with the Better Together Group consisting of: Woman’s Club of Lincoln,
Natives Sons, Native Daughters, Lincoln Area Archives Museum and the Friends of the Library to tape California
Stories. The Better Together group has been taping the Stories of Lincoln.
Interested in Califoria and Lincoln’s History, be part of this program.
